I have this really bad habit of getting into the last quarter, or last dungeon of a game and then just putting it off.

So far I've done it to the following games (and yes I still have the save files)

Persona 3
Tales of Abysia
Shin Megami Tensei (snes one)
Treasure of Rudras
Valkyria Chronicles

just to name a few.

Me too... i'm sitting near the end of P3, P4, and a few other RPGs right now. Not to mention countless times I've done it and then sold the games/deleted the save files. Hah.

All the Sword of Mana hate in this thread makes me sad. :(

i don't hate the game. its just that i got ffa and sword of mana at the same time and ended up sinking more time into the GB game then any other title and then sword just fell into oblivion

calgone all i can say is for ffa you are certainly missing out on an incredible game. also there is a supposed remake on the GBA that ups the graphics quite a bit. but stick to the original its amazing and well worth playing.

ruudos i've played everything on your list over the years. its a real shock to see you list all those gems on a list you never had time to sink in. but theres a bajillion games out there so im sure there are quite a few games i'd like to play but will never have time for.

I own most of them.
I would have played stuff like Chrono Trigger already if they would have decided to acutally release it over here back in the day.

Sword of Mana (the FFA remake on GBA) is a solid, underrated title. I enjoy it a lot, and have played through it a few times... it's a beautiful game visually and musically.

Ruud's issue may be that the games aren't available officially in the Netherlands. Just a guess though.

True. I've bought and played most of the action adventure / RPG games that were actually released here. Like Zelda, Illusion of Gaia, Terranigma, Lufia II (which got a Dutch translation, which was very unique and actually still is a rarity to this day for RPGs), Secret of Mana and Secret of Evermore.
