about 22 hours in give or take

the best part about the game is that it is the first time an open world game has ever lived up to the name. you really can go wherever you want and do whatever you want. there's a sense of wonder and kind of magic in Breath of the Wild that few games have, Zelda or otherwise.

that being said everything else is pretty standard fair with a few minor annoyances like not being able to climb up stuff when it's raining and Link not being able to run at all. stamina wheel is garbage.

four and half stars.

Any of you guys beaten Zelda yet? My buddy might let me borrow his switch and this game so I'm kind of wondering if the game holds up until the end.

Bratwurst and I have. Basically, the game is amazing and you'll play it forever, and then when you go to beat it, you'll realize there isn't much traditional Zelda game underneath. However, it's 100% worth playing.

So safe to assume half the pack has a switch.

How good does the control sit in your hand now that we're older, any jam ups?

The face buttons are way too small. Like, smaller than the NES pad. Good luck trying to play anything with a single Joycon. Also, no D-Pad. I really thing they should have nixed the C buttons in favor of that, especially for a lot of 2D games. I want to buy Blaster Master Zero, but I don't think I could really get very far using the analog stick.

It works a bit better if you're playing it in portable mode, but not by much.

So this is a thing that happened to me the other day. I guess not even Nintendo can create an open world game that's 100% bug free.
